rules or something--if anyone's wondering, i got my site name [BoomerangIcons] from a CUTE song. sweat the battle before the battle sweats you to be exact. why? i always liked how shaant said boomerang. lol. of course some people would have just gotten the idea from a boomerang, but i had to be cool and make it come from something "special." haha.--i don't like to subscribe/comment to/on personal xanga sites. it's weird and i feel like i'm invading someone's personal space. --i always subscribe to a site if i take more then 5 icons. if it's anything less then that, i won't subscribe unless i'm really impressed. --i don't/won't post anything relating to:
1.) shitty "reality" shows
2.) american eagle
3.) hollister
4.) abercrombie&fitch
5.) pictures of "really hawt purses"
6.) basically anything that promotes any kind of shallowness--my definition of shallowness
7.) ipods
8.) high school musical because no, mr. efron is not hawt and neither is the blond kiddy. omgz burnnn. & in all honesty, the movies sucked. =|
9.) corny "love" icons...they're annoying and they dumb down my mind when i read them
10.) celebutards. wait what?! yes, i did just use that word...
11.) the jonas brothers. their extermely tight pantedness freaks me out. --i do post icons that i think are funny and that i can relate to. --most of the time i don't return comments. it's not my thaaaang. --i don't usually update on weekends because i actually go out and do stuff. having a life for 2 whole days is pretty freakin amazing. mmmhmmm. --a lot of the time, i'll say i'll update on [enterday/datehere], but that rarely happens. haha. i usually end up updating 2/3 days later. --if you take more then 5 icons, please subscribe...especially if you have an icon site because let's face it, one on one is more fun anyway. er i mean...i'd subscribe to yours if i took more then that. --i don't do that whole '5 subscribers and 5 comments before the next update' crap. it doesn't work and it makes your site seem less...attractive. plus, you should be doing this for fun and to me, that doesn't make it fun. --since i'm in college now, i have less time to post new updates. so basically whenever i have free time, i'll post a new one. --do not copy and paste the icons. it takes me forever to upload icons to my various photobucket accounts. so do me a favor and save them to your computer and make your own photobucket account to upload them to. yes, it's time consuming, but shit, if you've got nothing else to do because you're bored, it worksssss. --feel free to comment. it isn't necessary, but it's nice to know what people think about this site. i won't tolerate rude comments. --if you find any icons that aren't showing up or show up as a photobucket error thing, leave me a comment telling me which post it's in so i can delete it. --the fall out boy icons that were previously posted are from this lj community. *note* i no longer post fobbie icons. i haven't had the time to go look for them so i just sort of stopped trying to make time. sometime in the future though, i will bring some of my favorites back.
--the credit for my icons is under my subscription list. the ones who have most recently updated are towards the top.
